Resource Central lets you optimise the use of meeting rooms and reduce the time and inefficiencies associated with making room bookings, organising catering, reserving presentation equipment, requesting room layouts, and so on.
Directly from within Outlook, staff can:
'Behind the scenes' Resource Central automatically notifies the relevant personnel of all bookings and requests, with both email updates and consolidated daily reports of what resources are needed and when, along with any modifications or cancellations - the second they are made. There is also a secure portal for suppliers that are external to your organisation.
Automatic cut-off times for making any catering changes and 'buffer times' to allow for room change-over can be built into the system as required. Charges for rooms and catering can also be made as appropriate against staff cost centres.
